Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 (250g) cups rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup (50g) plain flour
  • 1/2 cup (100g) sugar (raw)
  • 3 tbs (60g) chia seeds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tsp bicarb soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbs (50g) golden syrup
  • 1/3 cup (70g) coconut oil, melted
  • 3/4 cup (220g) apple sauce
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, roughly chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients, except cranberries, into a bowl
  3. Add the apple sauce and coconut oil into the dry ingredients and mix well
  4. Fold in the cranberries
  5. Divide the mixture into 16 portions and roll each portion into a ball. Place balls onto the the tray spaced apart
  6. Bake for 10-15 mins or until golden
  7. Cool on tray for 10 minutes before placing on wire rack
