Ingredients
400g beef sirloin, cut into thin 2 inch strips 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp chili powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp dried thyme 1/2 tsp dried oregano 1/2 tsp dried basil 3 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 onion, sliced 1 red capcicum, julienned 100g mushrooms, sliced 4 slices Swiss cheese 4 hot dog rolls, split lengthwise
Directions
- Mix spices in a small bowl. Place sliced steak in a large bowl, sprikle over seasoning mixture and stir to coat.
- Heat 1/2 of the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak; cook and stir to the desired doneness. Transfer cooked steak to a plate.
- Heat the remaining oil in the skillet. Add onion, capcicum and mushroom; cook and stir until tender and caramelized
- Divide cooked beef between the 4 rolls. Layer with onion, capcicum and mushroom. Top with cheese. Grill until cheese has melted.
